World Authority in Global Leadership Development Philippe Rosinski to Teach Issues in Management for Lauder Business School Masters Students

 

Lauder Business School University will have the privilege of hosting Prof. Philippe Rosinski’s course: Issues in Management this upcoming fall term. This special course will be open for 3rd semester International Management and Leadership Masters students.

The course will be held as a seminar and will cover the main aspects of Prof. Rosinski’s book Coaching Across Cultures.

Professor Philippe Rosinski is a world authority in executive coaching, team coaching and global leadership development. He is the first European to have been designated Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation.

Prof. Rosinski has pioneered a global approach to coaching that leverages multiple perspectives for greater creativity, impact and meaning. The Harvard Business School chose his ground-breaking book Coaching Across Cultures as its featured book recommendation in the category of business leadership. His innovative approach of bringing the crucial intercultural dimension into the practice of coaching has won him worldwide acclaim. His latest book Global Coaching has been described as “having moved the art and science of coaching to a new level”.

Congratulations to the Class of 2019

On June 28 we were pleased to welcome numerous families and friends to the Lauder Business School campus for a graduation celebration. In his welcome address our Executive Director Alexander Zirkler congratulated the graduates and introduced our Guest of Honor, the US Ambassador to Austria – his Excellency Trevor D. Traina.

Researching Real Estate Economics

Christian Reiner, senior researcher at LBS, has published a peer-reviewed article with the title “Concordance of office market cycles? Dynamics in European metropolises in the context of the financial and economic crisis”. The paper is joint work together with Robert Musil from the Austrian Academy of Sciences. It is published in the well-established, peer-reviewed German journal “Zeitschrift für Wirtschaftsgeographie”. The topic of the paper is strongly related to the LBS study program Strategic Finance & Business Analytics.

Fireplace Talk with the CEO of Austrian Airlines

On June 19 we were delighted to host the CEO of Austrian Airlines, Dr. Alexis von Hoensbroech, in the Lauder Business School ball room. He delivered an inspiring fireplace talk about his career path, the aviation industry in general, and the Austrian Airlines company structure and strategy.
