General Information
J.P. Morgan is a global financial services firm providing strategic advice and financial products to corporations, governments, wealthy individuals and institutional investors. This one-year Working Student Program provides hands-on experience within a leading global financial institution. The program runs from 1 January to 31 December 2027. Students are expected to work 15 hours per week during the semester and full-time during academic breaks. The position is on-site in Vienna.
Your team
You will join the Asset & Wealth Management team at JPMorganChase's Vienna office. As an integral part of the team, you will gain exposure to different aspects of banking and asset-management operations while supporting the sales team, client activities and market research. The position is designed to provide practical experience through a range of projects and day-to-day responsibilities.
Your role
You will support the sales team by coordinating client meetings and preparing presentations and meeting materials; participate in customer events such as financial fairs; research and prepare responses to ad-hoc client questions and reporting requests; maintain prospect and client databases; ensure important client information is accurately recorded and accessible; create fund competitor analyses; conduct research on market and client topics; and support expense processing and reconciliation.
Qualifications, experience and skills
You must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Austria for the entire duration of the program and graduate no earlier than June 2028. Fluency in English and German is required, together with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Candidates should have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality work, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. An interest in Finance, Economics, Asset Management or a related field is preferred.
