General Information
KPMG Austria is offering a Technology Consulting Internship for motivated students interested in digital transformation, IT strategy, and emerging technologies. The internship is available immediately for a six-month period, preferably on a full-time basis, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.
Interns receive a gross monthly salary between €1,600 and €2,350, depending on qualifications, plus overtime compensation. Flexible mobile working options, including home office, are available.

Your team
You will become part of KPMG Austria's Technology Consulting team, working alongside experienced consultants on innovative projects for leading national and international clients across a wide range of industries.
From your first day, you will be integrated as a full team member, collaborating with senior consultants, managers, and CIOs while receiving support through a structured mentorship programme and professional training opportunities.
Your role
As a Technology Consulting Intern, you will:
Support consulting projects for leading national and international clients.
Assist with digital transformation and IT consulting engagements.
Contribute to projects in areas including:
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
ERP Transformation
Process Automation and Digitalisation
IT Strategy
IT Governance and IT Service Management
IT Sourcing and Vendor Selection
IT Architecture and Modern Enterprise Systems
Data Analytics and Data Management
Public Sector and Healthcare IT
Cybersecurity
Apply modern AI-powered tools to optimise business processes and consulting workflows.
Participate in client workshops, solution development, and implementation activities.
Qualifications, experience and skills
Applicants should have:
Advanced Bachelor's or Master's studies in:
Business Informatics
Computer Science
IT Management
Or a related discipline.
Initial experience working on IT projects is an advantage.
An interest in both technology and business processes.
Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, customer-oriented, and motivated mindset.
A basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its practical business applications.
Flexibility and enthusiasm for project-based work.
Excellent English language skills.
