During your studies at LBS, you can earn additional certifications alongside your degree. Some certifications are already included in the program, while others can be obtained through additional coursework or examinations.
Bloomberg Finance Fundamentals Certificate
Introduces the Bloomberg Terminal and core financial data workflows, building the practical fluency expected in finance and banking roles.
Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate
Provides a self-paced grounding in economic indicators, currencies, fixed income, and equities, widely recognised as a benchmark entry credential in financial markets.
Environmental Social Governance Certificate
Covers the key frameworks and data sources used to evaluate environmental, social, and governance factors in investment and corporate decision-making.
Bloomberg Spreadsheet Analysis Certificate
Develops advanced data handling and modelling skills using Bloomberg data in spreadsheet environments, directly applicable to analyst and reporting roles.
SAS Certificate
Issued by SAS, a global leader in analytics software, the certificates demonstrate proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data-driven decision-making. Students choose a track aligned with their programme focus: Risk Analytics and Data Science for finance and compliance contexts, or Business Analytics and Data Science for broader management and strategy applications.
SAP Certificates
LBS students gain certification relevant to their field of study, including Master Data management, SAP Fiori (the UX layer), and functional modules covering Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and Business Warehouse (BW). These credentials are directly sought by employers implementing or operating SAP environments.
IPMA Level D Project Management Certificate
The IPMA Level D is the internationally recognised entry-level credential of the International Project Management Association, awarded in Austria through the PMA. It certifies foundational knowledge of project management principles, methods, and terminology, and is a recognised qualification across industries in Europe and beyond.
Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)
Awarded by Scrum.org, the PSM I certification demonstrates a solid understanding of the Scrum framework, its roles, events, and artefacts, and the ability to apply Scrum in real team contexts. It is one of the most widely held agile certifications globally and valued in product, IT, and project management roles.
Process Analyst and Process Manager Certificates
The two-tier certificates from Austrian Society for Process Management (Gesellschaft fur Prozessmanagement) recognise expertise in business process analysis and management. The Process Analyst covers process documentation, modelling, and optimisation methods. The Process Manager focuses on governance, process ownership, and organisational implementation.
Certified Compliance Officer
Issued by Austrian Standards (Osterreichisches Normungsinstitut), this certificate provides a structured foundation in corporate compliance, covering relevant legal frameworks, risk management principles, and internal control systems.
